Barium Titanate is a ferroelectric ceramic material typically seen in white powder form, that is used in capacitors, nonlinear optics, and electromechanical transducers.
Titanates Ltd Process Technology uses solid phase blending, calcining and micronising to produce different grades of Barium Titanate for a variety of industrial applications – including:
Titanates Ltd manufacture Barium Titanate in a range of different controlled sizes and chemical compositions, including nanopowder, ultrafine particle size distribution and highly-reactive grades, ideal for single crystal growth in electroceramics and uses in micro-piezo devices and capacitors.
The manufacturing process of this particular powder involves a drying phase to induce soft agglomeration; this is then broken up via a process known as “ball milling.” Due to harder agglomerates being formed as part of this process, nano-sized powder requires additional milling time and energy to complete the process; therefore, be aware that manufacturing time will be extended to ensure that the product meets our high-quality standards.
Titanates Ltd Process Technology has been in operation since 1984 in the manufacturing of solid phase Electroceramic Powders, having exported to many major customers worldwide.
As an Electroceramic Powder Manufacturer, we have facilities to cover a vast variety of different chemical contract processing services and products. Thus, enabling us to supply for lab scale development and prototype production right through to high volume manufacture of electroceramics.
